I've kept my focus diverted from slobbering beer swilling UFC scenarios since it's inception, with few exceptions.

Anyway I'm hoping one of you freaks takes Jiujitsu and wants to invite me to an open tournament.

My instructor is a brown belt under Renato Tavares.

We have some fighters who are doing really well. One guy from my gym fought on the last WEC and another guy fought for MFC in canada and they showed it live on HDNET.

I knew someone awhile back who was training in Judo. He was a Tech at a mental hospital in OKC. Good place of work for his skills. He really liked it. Wonder why, He only gets to restrain people and take them to the floor as a job. I don't remember what title he had though...

Skeavis:  Yea im living in Tulsa these days. Doing it work for OU's Tulsa campus.

We have 3-4 judo black belts at my school it's a great art. Grappling arts are the shit and they are the most effective way to win a fight imo.

Just don't do mma style shit on the street unless someone attacks you first in self defense. I learned the hard way just because someone throws a punch and misses doesn't mean you can whip the shit out of them without having to pay out the ass

Actually I'm banned from all Canadian tournaments starting next week, because what I do isn't brazilian Jiujitsu (just canadian). So no more tournaments, thats okay, moving to Uruguay on Thursday! (Jan 15) woohoo!

Skeavis:  Couple of my friends have been fightings in canada for Maximum Fighting Championship. Aron Lofton just lost a tough fight to Marvin Eastman a week or so back. Should be getting my blue belt soon. Waiting for our black belt to visit again or for my instructor to get his black (he is a 4 stripe brown).

I haven't bothered with anything official so far, just test my might at tournaments around the country. They (the CJA canadian jiujitsu association) un-barred kumo jiujitsu from competition because we threatened to kill everyone if they did not. CJA is mostly Omar Salvosas baby. Although I can understand the CJA's reasoning for wanting exclusive BJJ practitioners in tournaments, un-disciplined fighters with sloppy technique that cause undue injury = bad.

I'll fight you someday skeav, we have open mats anytime in our lil' dojo, so pay a visit whenever you want.

Skeavis:  Yea our bjj classes are blowing up. Went from 10-15 people to 40+ most nights. We are moving to a 7000 sq ft facility soon.

Started rolling on tues/thurs with strikes its the shit man lol. I love dominating some n00b off the street and punching him over and over haha.

Skeavis:  Yea i love to get them in the mounted triangle. They have to smell my nuts, I can choke them out, and punch them repeadtly and they cant defend lol.

Skeavis:  Xguard is dope. I love the half guard probably my best position. I can hit so many different sweeps.

I don't even have a next gen system. I have tried UFC undisputed and It's o-kay; not great.
